In my last ‘What’s New in Funko Land’ article I had to play catch up since I hadn’t written one in such a long time, however I have now caught up and ready to show what new products they have in store for us! With so many exciting new films an television shows coming out the Funko crew have been super busy designing new products and they have something to suit everyone! Here are some of the new Funko’s heading your way very soon!
Pop! Rocks Wave 3 Funko Pops
You can now add some more of your favourite singers into your Funko collection with the wave 3 of Funko Pop rock legends! This series features Jerry Garcia, shown with his signature glasses and guitar! Known for his fashionable taste and larger than life outfits Elton John is shown in two versions – a classic white suit, and patriotic red, white, and blue suit! Complete with his iconic glasses. Rounding out the series comes front man, Kurt Cobain! Featured in his recognizable brown and green sweater.
Buffy is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary this year and Funko is bringing you some more Buffy Funko goodness!! You can now collect Buffy complete with bow, Xander, Buffy’s father figure Giles, and Faith. Rounding out the series is Willow’s alter-ego Dark Willow! Look for the Xander chase piece shown with eye patch, a rarity of 1-in-6!
I cannot wait for the upcoming Marvel film Black Panther film to come out!! The trailers look amazing and the whole cast is spot on!! The film will be released next year but if you can’t wait till then for your Balck Panther fix then Funko has you covered!! You can collect Black Panther – in his suit and Warrior Falls outfit – the former queen of Wakanda Shuri, and Nakia, part of the Dora Milaje. Rounding out the series is supervillain Erik Killmonger. Look for the chase pieces for both Black Panther and Erik Killmonger!

Tommy Boy Funko Pops
The characters from the hit comedy show is getting the Funko Pop treatment! This series features seven-year college graduate Tommy and his dad’s sycophantic assistant Richard. Both pops will be available this winter. Find Tommy in his ripped coat, only at Target.
One Piece Funko Pops
Funko is adding more lines to it’s anime collection with these new One Piece Funko Pops! You can now collect the pirate empress Boa.Hancock, master swordsman Zoro, cyborg shipwright Franky, and navigator extraordinaire Nami. I definitely need to get my hands on Zoro!! What a cool looking Funko Pop!
The Night Begins to Shine from Teen Titans Go! is coming to Pop! The Teen Titans Go! original song is lip-synced by Cyborg, and the episode features some of your favorite Teen Titans Go! characters in 80s-inspired looks. This series of Pop! features Raven, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Bear and Starfire!
