This will be my third My Little Pony Mystery Mini unboxing and I managed to snag myself a series 3 Mystery Mini box!
Even though I have 3 more to open after this one, I’ve been searching everywhere for more but they don’t have them in my local comic book shop anymore (sad times guys, sad times). But I shan’t dwell on that, let’s see what I got this time!!
My Little Pony wasn’t a show I watched religiously as a child, and if I’m being entirely honest, I don’t think I ever watched it, I was more of a Pokemon/Recess type of child. But now that I’m older, I can appreciate why some girls my age find them aesthetically cute, because, well let’s face it, they are!
I really loved the look and the quality of the Funko Pop My Little Pony Mystery Minis. As soon as I got my first one, Pinkie Pie from the first series, I’ve bought a few more. I haven’t bought any from series two because I didn’t particularly like the look of any but I fancied a few from the third series.

NIGHTMARE MOON!!!
Okay, I am IN LOVE with this one! I love the colour and for a Mystery Mini it’s on the big side!! I’m loving her colour, from her unicorn horn to her angel wings to her sparkling nighttime shimmer. She is so pretty! They’ve put so much detail into her and the paintwork is absolutely great! I’m so happy I bought more because I cannot wait to see the other ones I’ll get!
I did some research on Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon is one of the villains in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and the main antagonist of the two-part pilot episode “Friendship is Magic” also known as “Mare in the Moon”. Before that, she was known as Princess Luna, and is the younger sister of Princess Celestia.
It is unclear if “Nightmare Moon” is an Entity which possessed Luna or not; the show seems to lean that Nightmare Moon is Luna’s alternate personality but the comics state that Luna was corrupted during her time on the moon (not a clue what I’m talking about).
In series three, there are twelve to collect all-together with a 1/12 chance of getting each. Other characters include:
