We’ve reached that point guys, our last Funko Friday Christmas Special. It’s been nice researching and finding Christmas themed Funko Pops for all you lovely people. I haven’t seen if Funko are releasing any more Christmas themed Funko’s except for Belle and The Beast, but don’t fret dear readers, as I have five more Funko’s to show you before this season comes to a close!
Clark Giswald (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation)
This is the third in the National Lampoon series about the Griswold family. In this sequel, the Griswolds must deal with a holiday with their in-laws. This is the Clark Giswald Funko Pop and look how cute he is in this festive hat! He is the main protagonist of the Lampoon series. Clark, who is nicknamed, “Sparky” by his wife, stands for the traditional middle class male head of (nuclear family) household. He wants the best for his family, and will go to gravely unreasonable expenses to achieve it.
Cousin Eddie (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation)
We have another National Lampoon’s Funko Pop and this time it’s Cousin Eddie! Look at his gigantic hat! I’m loving the added chest hair, it tickles me and I am loving the cigar. This is probably my favourite Christmas themed Funko. There is so much character to it!!
The Elf on the Shelf
Am I the only one who finds his arm posture quite creepy? He is a creepy looking Funko, isn’t he? He’s like the Annabelle of Funkos’. The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition is a 2004 children’s picture book, written by Carol Aebersold and daughter Chanda Bell and illustrated by Coë Steinwart. The book tells a Christmas-themed story, written in rhyme, that explains how Santa Claus knows who is naughty and who is nice. It describes elves visiting children between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, after which they return to the North Pole until the next holiday season. The Elf on the Shelf comes in a keepsake box that features a hardbound picture book and a small soft toy in the form of a pixie scout elf.
Festive Groot
WHO DOESN’T WANT A FESTIVE DANCING GROOT?! He is just adorable! Baby Groot is probably one of the cutest characters in the Marvel Universe. He comes from the comic Guardians of the Galaxy and is just too precise in his Christmas coloured pot!
Festive Toothless
I love the colours of this Funko and his big round green eyes. I love the festive wreath around his neck, it’s just so cute! Toothless is from the hit film How to Train your Dragon. Not a Christmas movie, but those big green are Christmas colours, right?
