IT

The first trailer to the IT reboot has just landed and I have to say, it looks so f*cking good.

I’m a huge fan of the original movie and of the book. Since they announced the remake of the film, I was 100% on board with it. I know a lot of people don’t like reboots and remakes cause if it’s not broke, don’t fix it, but I think IT is a candidate for a fresh new take on the novel and TV movie.

Now, looking at the teaser trailer of this film, I cannot WAIT for it to come out and ruin everyone.

The film stars so many up and coming young stars including, Jaeden Lieberher (Bill Denbrough), Finn Wolfhard (Richie Tozier), Jack Dylan (Stan Uris), Sophia Lillis (Beverly Marsh), Chosen Jacobs (Mike Hanlon), Wyatt Oleff (Eddie Kaspbrak) and Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben Hanscom). We also get Bill Skarsgard as the ever menacing Pennywise The Clown, the role previous was played by Tim Curry.

The film will be split up into two separate films. The first film will focus on the “Loser’s Club” as they discover Pennywise The Clown as a menacing and deadly force and must find a way to defeat them. The second film will focus on the Losers Club coming back together, thinking they defeated Pennywise, but… you know, they didn’t.

It will be interesting to see what this R-rated version of IT will include and how they’ll balance some of what’s in the original book to what was already on the screen. (There are some scenes in the book that are… I hope they don’t do that.)

The first film of IT comes to theatres September 8th.
