Cosplay has become a staple at fan conventions around the world as more and more fans pay tribute to their favourite characters by dressing up as them. There were so many great cosplayers last weekend in Toronto that we decided to do a Fan Expo 2017: cosplay round-up!

Lots of love is poured into each outfit and brought to the convention that helps give other con-goers a sense of otherworldly-ness. You’re talking to your favourite writers and artists, that celebrity from that show you love, and trying to find that ONE ISSUE of that comic your missing… all while Batgirl and Poison Ivy walk up the aisles perusing the show too. It’s an absolutely wonderful kind of bizarre.

I didn’t get a ton of photos at Fan Expo 2017 (there was apparently a little girl running around dressed up as Squirrel Girl that I’m heartbroken to have missed) but I did get some photos of my favourite cosplays over the weekend and they’re compiled in the gallery below:
