For a franchise that just a few months ago was rumored to being completely forgotten by Marvel, a lot of positive news has come out about various X-Men related projects lately.
It has been announced that Drew Goddard has taken over writing a new script for the highly anticipated Deadpool 2. It is said that Goddard has been working closely with the movies star Ryan Reynolds to create a script that will make everyone involved happy with the final product. With the constant news and shakeups around Deadpool 2, movie goers can only hope that the finished product works out all the angst that is building up around the project.
In addition to the Deadpool 2 news, it has been rumored that Joe Carnahan has been tapped write an X-Force movie. Carnahan has a lot of projects on his plate right now so it is not known yet when a initial script may surface much less a timeline for the actual movie to be released.
