throwaways_01-1On this special episode of Comicsbound, we’re joined by a couple of amazing guests. Caitlin Kittredge and Steven Sanders come onto the podcast to discuss their project together from Image Comics, Throwaways. We talk about the series, the inspiration behind it, the research that goes into it, we ask some silly questions (as we do) and more.

Throwaways Vol. 1 hits store shelves on December 21, 2016… JUST in time for Christmas (hint hint).

The official synopsis for Throwaways is this: “Abby Palmer and Dean Logan are two broken people with one thing in common: they’re both victims of a brutal government mind control experiment–and they’re the only two who escaped alive. Abby is a homeless drifter, and Dean is trying to outrun the horrors of his past when the program finds them again…and they become the other’s only chance to survive. The program gifted them both with abilities beyond a normal human’s imagination–and as Dean and Abby realize what was done to them, they’re determined to use those abilities to destroy the program and its sinister architect, Dr. Elizabeth Ostrander, once and for all.”
