Blind Bag Opening: Num Noms Series 2

For this week’s Blind Bag Opening I’ve decided to have a look at the cute new craze that has taken the blind box enthusiasts by storm! Num Noms can be seen being opened on most YouTube toy channels and I decided to get a few myself to see what all the hubbub is about! 

What Are Num Noms?
The official description is that “Nums are the outer, soft, squishy, hollow characters that nest on top of Noms. Noms are the inner, hard-shelled characters that are either motorized to scoot around, or filled with flavored lip gloss.”

Their world looks like it could take place within your kitchen cabinets or pantry – a place where food  is up for fun, and “a recipe for mischief.” Each Num and Nom is named  and has a specific profile. Kids can craft their own “recipes” by mixing and matching their Num Noms.

With the Series 2  Nums there are nine sets in all and they are:

• Brunch Nums
• Sushi Nums
• Fair Food Nums
• Ice Cream Nums
• Jelly Bean Nums
• Pizza Nums
• Diner Food Nums
• Freezie Pop Nums
• Cupcake Nums

Each profile have their own special edition Nums too. All the Nums are cute to look at and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. In short, they are so cute and I want to collect them all!
Of course with each ‘Num’ there comes a ‘Nom’. A Nom can either be a stamp or lip gloss. There are four Nom categories and they are:

• Stamp-it Noms
• Go-Go Noms
• Gloss-up Noms
• Erase- it Noms

Since opening this particular Num Nom blind box they’ve released series 2 with even more limited edition Nums and Noms! I have opened one or two on my own time and managed to snag myself a few of the limited edition Nums! They all smell incredible but a little strong on the first whiff.

BERRY PUFFS
She smells amazing and she’s so cute with her little bow and winky face! She comes under the Fair Food category along with other Nums such as Cara Mallie, Annie Apple, Pinky Puffs, Sugar Puffs, Papa Corn and limited edition Nums Momma Corn and Nana Puffs!!

Now which Nom did I get?

B-Day Gummy Stamp It
Her smell isn’t as strong as the above Nom but she is cute and comes with her own bow and winky face! She falls under the category of Stamp-It Noms along with Lemon Gummy Stamp-It, Candy Gummy Stamp-It, Cherry Gummy Stamp-It, Wild Berry Stamp-It, Mint Gummy and the limited edition Caramel Stamp-It.  The texture of the Nom gives it a nice finishing sheen and appeals to my aesthetic.

Will I buy more?
I have 5 waiting to be opened as I type this and I’m definitely going to buy some more! They are really cute and they smell incredible! I may be a bit too old for them but they’re pretty, they’re cute, and they make my desk look nice!
