Welcome to 2017 one and all! At Rogues Portal we are going to be covering a lot more gaming news and media in 2017, starting with our first gaming podcast where we discuss a pair of games for the 2016 Game of the Year, Overwatch and Pokémon GO.
Robert, David, and I discuss 2016 in gaming, and what we are looking forward to in 2017. For Now Playing, David talks about his love for the multiplayer sensation Battlefield 1, Robert dives into Assassin’s Creed in preparation for the movie, and I steal the original Death Star plans with Kyle Katarn in Star Wars: Dark Forces.
For the Game of the Year we tackle everything in Overwatch and Pokémon GO and why they are both worthy for Game of the Year, even if Overwatch doesn’t have a single player mode and Pokémon GO continues to be frustrating for non-urban players.
Looking forward to 2017, we discuss our hopes Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mass Effect: Andromeda and Red Dead Redemption 2.
